The SADS (Sudden Arrhythmia Death Syndromes) Foundation, headquartered in Salt Lake City, Utah, was established in 1991 to save the lives and support the families of children and young adults who are genetically predisposed to sudden death due to heart rhythm abnormalities, (channelopathies such as Long QT Syndrome, Brugada Syndrome, etc.). We meet this goal through four principal program areas that include: Prevention & Awareness, Patient & Family Support, Medical Education, and Research & Advocacy. Miami Children’s Health Foundation (MCH Foundation), the fundraising arm of Miami Children’s Health System, was established to raise funds and create a world-class pediatric hospital, so no child needs to leave South Florida for superior medical care. MCH Foundation has helped Nicklaus Children’s Hospital become a leader in pediatric healthcare, while seeking to support children and families throughout the continuum of health and life, and bring hope, relief, health and happiness wherever they are, whenever they need. Miami Children’s Health System’s mission is to provide the very best care to each and every child, and Nicklaus Children’s is the most trusted partner, not only in times of illness, but throughout the life journey. Currently, MCH Foundation is dedicated to Together For The Children, The Campaign For Miami Children’s, aimed at raising $150 million by 2017, which will help fund seven priorities, including the enhancement of the Heart Program, one of Nicklaus Children’s three Centers of Excellence. The Heart Program provides care for more children with congenital heart disorders than any other hospital in Florida and has been ranked among the nation’s best for pediatric cardiology and heart surgery by U.S. News & World Report. Together, Anything is Possible. #2gether4thechildren
