This exhibition and lecture, presented by the Department of Art and Design, will show and discuss Marcolina's most recent work, reflecting his 35-year journey in digital image creation. He will show how he blends Al with traditional digital techniques to reimagine his original lens work into distinctive forms and thought-provoking visual juxtapositions. He will also explain how he transformed the show into an immersive “through the phone” experience by using AI video, AR and VR in surprising ways. His AI work is simply an extension of his passion to create work that reaches past the typical definition of photography.
